last year Livio Scarsi left us, reaching his maestro Beppo Occhialini, and this year is the Beppo's birth centenary.
To honour Livio's and Beppo's memory, the Institute IASF-Pa/INAF and the Department DiFTeR/University of Palermo are organizing an International Symposium on "High Energy in Space".
The symposium will be held in Palermo during the period 11-13 October 2007.
The program will be based on three sessions, devoted respectively to history and memory, high energy astrophysics, and astroparticles. Lectures will be given by Invited and Solicited speakers. A Poster Session will include further selected contributions.
On behalf of the Scientific Organizing Committee, we are very glad to invite you to participate at the "High Energy in Space" Symposium. The Symposium is addressed also to PhD and graduate students.
